We have a Location Themed Event and Imagine we are a catering planner and we have to presenting to a client an idea of a themed event.

We have to CREATE power point presentation for our client as per below requirements.

SCENARIO: We have been asked to SELECT location themed party for a top client.

Below we will find information about the client, themes and tasks to help for complete assignment.

THEME OPTIONS (choose one) Select one (1) of the two theme options below and This will be the basis for your assignment.

1. Caribana Theme or 2. Emily in Paris Theme

CLIENT INFORMATION: Linda Storm is a Store Manager of Burberry Store. She hosts an annual event for her top 50 clients which includes a reception, buffet dinner and dancing.

BUDGET: We have no budget limitations. Enjoy planning this Deep Market Event.

REQUIREMENTS:

#1: Create a Mood Board (5 marks) Maximum 2 page, create a mood board (collage) representing the themed event. A mood board (or inspiration board) is a digital collage of ideas relating to the theme.

#2: Decor, Lighting and Entertainment Requirements. This is your area to get creative. List any dcor, lighting and entertainment items you feel would best represent the theme. Make sure you mention the dcor for the following items: - Furniture - Table linens & napkins - Centrepieces - Ceiling dcor - Moving dcor - Props Besides dcor - List the lighting items. - List the Entertainment details. Images to be used as supporting materials to your listed items.

#3: Prepare a display menu showing the buffet items related to the theme of your event.

FOOD REQUIREMENTS Buffet 1 Soup, 2 Salads, 3 Mains, 2 Sides, 3 Desserts (make sure 1 of 3 mains is a vegetarian)
