We have seen that an Internet Service Provider (ISP) can receive a block of addresses, and a small organization can receive a block of addresses from an ISP. After a block of addresses are assigned to an organization, the network administration can manually assign addresses to individual hosts or routers. However, due to limited number of addresses it will lead to the problem of shortage of addresses in an organization. (1) Explain how Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) can be used when the size of block assigned to an organization is less than the number of hosts in the organization.
