Read the following summary of a case and assume you are a lawyer that represents Dr. Smith. Prepare an outline of a "Discovery Plan" of "evidence" that you would want to obtain to help Dr. Smith defend the case. Refer to class materials in your response. Heather is a patient of Dr. Smith. Heather went to see Dr. Smith to have a mole removed from her lower back. Dr. Smith performed minor surgery in his office and removed the mole from Heather's back. After the surgery Heather noted a slight numbness sensation from the operative sight. Its now a year after the surgery and that numbness never went away. One day when Heather went to the beach she was also told by her friends that there was an ugly scar on her lower back. Heather cant personally see the scar because of its location but her friends took a picture of it and showed it to her.
