We like to design a plug$-$and$-$play protocol to allow a computer located in a broadcast domain $($LAN$)$ to find all computing, printing resources, etc. of a broadcast domain. This information is held in a media server residing in a LAN. When a new machine moves to the LAN, it first contact the DHCP server and gets a new IP address. Assume this step is completed. It then needs to contact the media server to get the computing and printing resources of the LAN. But there is a problem. $($a$)$ The new client computer does not know the IP address of the media server. $($b$)$ It also needs the port number which the media server program is running on$.$ Suggest a simple method to solve this problem $($a$)$ and $($b$).$
