We propose to design a channel code, called C$1,2,$ by combining two

linear block codes C$1$ and C$2.$

The parameters of C$1$ are $1,1,$ and $,1,$ whereas the parameters

of C$2$ are $2,2,$ and $,2,$ where $1$ and $2$ denote the message

lengths, $1$ and $2$ designate the codeword lengths, and $,1$ and

$,2$ are the minimum Hamming distances between codewords.

The encoding algorithm is explained below.
