Web Pages for Final Project $(10$ pages in total$)$

Your project must contain:

$1.$ A home page$/$index page $($index$.$html$)$:

a$.$ This is the entry point into your web site and will load automatically once uploaded to the Electron server

$2.$ A navigation method to get from web page to web page and back to the home page.

$3.$ Appearing within your web pages the following concepts will be demonstrated$/$shown:

Proper use of indentation and spacing of HTML code.

Proper internal documentation.

A title on each page.

Use of background colour using the hexadecimal coding scheme.

A heading, paragraph, horizontal rule, break tag, bold text, strong text, italic text, emphasize text, special characters.

A table.

An ordered, unordered, and definition list.

A link to an external source.An image map with at least $3$ clickable regions.

Feedback form.$$At the bottom of this page will be your e$-$mail address $($visible and usable$).$

Demonstration of Cascading Style Sheets.

Each page must have suitable content $($see below$)$ and at least $1$ image per page.$$

A citation web page.$$

Use this page to give credit to all your sources of information and$/$or images used in your web site assignment.

Rules to follow for your Final Project $($Assignment #$6)$:

When using$$colour$$parameters only$$hexadecimal$$values will be accepted for specifying a color. Use the # sign with all$$hexadecimal$$colour$$codes$.$

Capitals are not accepted when naming a file or within a command. Everything that is not text $($content$)$ must be in lowercase. Tags, especially, must be in lower case.

A complete page is a page with at least $7$ to $8$ lines of content "text" and at least one picture and a back link. Spelling, grammar, and coherency count! Text must be normal size full screen $7$ to $8$ lines to qualify $($A page with big letters of $7$ lines doesn't work$).$

Watch the order of tags while closing them.

Keep backgrounds consistent throughout the site.

When making thumbnails, the use of height and width parameters is not permitted to resize your image files. Only resizing the image to thumbnail size using Paint Shop Pro or another graphics editor is acceptable. Otherwise, you will have a major slowdown in page loading time.$$NOTE: make sure you still include height and width attributes in your image tags with the actual dimensions of the images.

Any type of advertising whatsoever is unacceptable.

Any type of pornography or nudity whatsoever is unacceptable.

Refer to the$$A$.$U$.$P$.($Acceptable Use Policy$)$at the University.

Make sure you aren't missing quote marks around attribute value specifications $($anywhere you use something$=$"something"$)$

As a page is a full body it cannot be dismembered. It will always have one tag and one tag in that order.

Pages will be viewed at $1024$ X $768$ resolution at full screen in GOOGLE CHROME!

All images and personal files must be in your COMP$-2057$ directory$/$electron account. If it's yours, it had better be in there. No images linked in from outside sources. Do not make separate folders$/$directories for images. All addressing must be relative. $($Without path names.$)$

A page of $1$ and a half screens or longer MUST have internal links and targets.

Every page $($file$)$ must have a title.

Tables and images that scroll off the screen to the right will be penalized.

Every page has an image. Marks will be deducted each time an image is missing. Pay attention to these deductions, as they can quickly add up$!$

Absolutely no spaces in any file names.

No commercial web sites of any kind!

All content on all pages must be the original work of the student. Copying content from any other source will result in a zero for the entire project.
