Week 1 Couple weeks before construction starts

1. Develop an eight step Project scope checklist using the outline from chapter 4 (4.1). Put this Project scope in a business memo.
2. Develop an activity-on-node network in excel showing ES, ID, EF, SL, Description, LS, DUR, LF for the building of a house using the Build time information plan. Use figure 6.8 as an example. Make sure critical path is identified.
3. Develop a Risk Assessment form for the project using scale in figure 7.5 and the form in figure 7.6. You should have at least four risks identified. Put this Project scope in an excel file.
4. Select the following cost elements: house plan, basement/slab, upgrades and lot. This will be your Base Project. List these items in the Project Budget file you will submit for deliverable #5. Create an alternative (Plan #2) to your Base Project with a different house plan and some different extras. You must have one slab and one basement in your two plans.
5. Develop an estimated Base Project and a Plan 2 budget in excel using your choices from Deliverable #4. Use the following cost buckets: build house, lot, upgrades, appliances, budgeted buffer. Make this an excel file
6. What are you biggest concerns? List your four biggest concerns in a business memo.
