Week $1$ Tasks:

Assigned Topic: Your team will map out and design the end$-$to$-$end supply chain required to surgically implant a cardiac pacemaker. Begin the supply chain with raw materials for manufacturing the pacemaker and proceed all the way through the patient having surgery. Consider each of these at each step along the supply chain: the input and who provides it to that step; the output and who it goes to at the end of the step. There are often more than $1$ input and output, so think holistically about all the partners in the process.
