Week $3-$ Topic: Long$-$Term Care $-$ Case #$8-$ Jasper Gardens

Each week students will read the assigned Case Study from the Casebook $($Seidel & Lewis$)$ and answer the following questions from the viewpoint of a CEO:

$(1)$ describe a brief overview of this venue and healthcare services provided;

$(2)$ describe a brief description of the reimbursement mechanisms for this venue;

$(3)$ describe measures to increase revenues, e$.$g$.,$ increase volume$/$price;

$(4)$ describe measures to decrease or contain expenses;

$(5)$ review the analytics provided and describe which financial ratios and data you would focus on; and,

$(6)$ review the remaining analytics and discuss which data you would follow$/$track$/$trend that might impact the organization's financial standing and why; and,

$(7)$ review the trends and describe which other measures might be taken.
