Week 7 Homework Problems

Both Chapters 10 and 11 are required reading.Chapter 11 was assigned in Week 6 for the study of ANOVA.Here it is needed for the study of the Ch-Squared Tests for Independence and Goodness-of-Fit.Note there are additional readings listed in Week 7 to supplement the textbook.

Chapter, section and problem number from the text are indicated in bold

Use the problem numbers given below on your submission

Preferably submit a single file or, if not possible, a small number of files

All work showing how answers were obtained is required when there are calculations

Answer all parts of each question

Submit legible, organized and clear work that is preferably in a single MS Word or PDF file

Include last name and "HW 7" in that order on the filename and submit in the /Week 7/ Folder under the /Assignments/ Tab at the end of the academic week (Tuesday 4 May at midnight ET)

General Comments are planned for preliminary submissions submitted by Sunday
