You want to set up a meeting that will allow for the team to meet together but you are mindful of the varied time zones and are planning on allowing a combination of half$-$day and full$-$day off requests in the day before to allow the team to be fresh for the meeting. This seems unorthodox, but you are willing to try it to make sure you are moving in the right direction. In order for your team to effectively work with each other throughout the different time zones, it is essential that a sensible plan is established. You plan on incorporating Skype, an Instant Messaging platform, FAQs, and the ability for information to be shared and saved on a shared drive. The goal is to ensure that at whatever time information is being uploaded or questions arise, they can be answered immediately without fear of waking someone in a different time zone. The Instant Messaging application is more for immediate interactions when time appropriate.
