Please discuss a topic that you always wondered what the largest value of the quantity is or what the smallest quantity is, if they exist. Be creative. We all have thoughts that pass through our minds periodically of "I wonder what..." Come up with 2 different ideas that you always wondered about (specifically having to do with max's or min's) and discuss it with the class. For example, I have always wondered what the maximum weight is for the occupants on a Ferris Wheel. I am sure there are guidelines about it, but I have always wondered if there is an actual function. Perhaps, do some research on your interests to see what numbers you can come up with or if there is an actual function and share that with the class.
