- What are the functions that this system provides?
The system offers an overview of how Goods are sold to the Customer; more precisely, it explains how the Retailer receives the goods from the Supplier and then sells them to the Customertfor the final destination. The function itself would be that of the Customer purchasing goods from a retailer. Still, the diagrams also explain the behind-the-scenes to get those goods to the Retailer from the Supplier in the first place.
- Who are different users for this system?
The different users in this system are the Supplier, Customer, and Retailer. The Supplier ensures the Retailer has sufficient goods to sell to the Customer who then purchases from the Retailer for its final destination. The Suppliers have access to all the goods that the Retailer would like to purchase, and the customer has access to all the goods that the Retailer purchases/provides.
- What are the different objects/entities/classes used in this system?
The objects identified within the three diagrams consist of the Customer, Retailer, Supplier, and finally, the Goods being sold. The Supplier works with the Retailer to meet the demands of the Customer base, and once those products have been delivered, the Customers purchase them from the retailer's store.
- What sequence of events must happen before the Retailer retailer can provide goods for the Customer?
For the Retailer to facilitate the selling of goods to the Customer, the Retailer must first order the goods from the Supplier. The Supplier must then receive those goods, arrange them for sale, and finally facilitate the excellent sale to the Customer for the final destination. Without the Supplier first selling the goods to the Retailer at wholesale, the Customers wouldn't have any product available to sell in its stores.
