Question: What are your comments on the student's answer to Think of a recent or planned major purchase - how would you define quality for that
My last major purchase was my vehicle. Prior to purchasing, I did my research based on my perception of quality. Features that were highlighted in my search were reliability, performance, costs, and technological advances embedded. Overall, this vehicle brand is rated greatly in quality in consumer reporting. In the past two years, it has been labeled as one of the top brands in vehicle reliability by the Automatic Reliability Report. The reviews of the car's performance were mainly positive. The costs of the vehicle was feasible for a luxury vehicle and did not exceed my budgeted amount. Lastly, the technology embedded was user-friendly and provided remote quick access to common functions. In similarity to healthcare settings, quality measures such as reliability, performance, technology, and costs can be applicable. Healthcare settings have to consider evidential analysis for their setting. With their investments, budgets must be considered for costs. Investments must be reliable to not disrupt workflow. Performance and technological components for efficiency are facets that healthcare settings management must align with investments to promote optimal workflow
