What I want you to do Read Ch 5. Using the information from Ch 5 , the course resources and any other viable resource you choose, discuss liquidity ratios, activity ratios, leverage or debt ratios and profitability ratios. Explain the purpose of each of the categories of ratios (why are they used). 1. You do not need to explain the various ratios in each category, just what the ratios are used for, for example, what are liquidity ratios and why are they used? 2. Describe how the ratio may help you as a potential or current business owner by using a specific example for how it applies to your business
