What is a task board and what is it used for?

A task board is a meeting held the first day of a sprint in which the Project Owner presents requests for what he$/$she would like to have incorporated into the sprint.

A task board occurs at the end of the project when the product is being demonstrated. The Project Owner records comments made by stake holders to modify the next round of tasks.

The task board is a highly visible $($to the team$)$ information board that shows at minimum: the things left to do$,$ the things in progress and the completed items.
