What is one simple feedback for this post?

I feel this study would fall under the inferential statistics category as it is a way to examine the outcome of offender following their release.It gives the DOC the information they will need to reevaluate the way in which they prepare the offenders for their release and reentry into society.

By allowing a null as well as an alternative hypothesis to be conducted the researchers will be able view and compare all data collected to have a broad view of those studied to show what influenced those that did reoffend while also being able to evaluate all values collected and reviewed through the null hypothesis. By allowing both hypothesis to be used they are looking at all data and all possible outcomes.

I feel the chi-square test would be most beneficial as this study is to determine if the program is effective or not.Their goal is to review a certain number of individuals that have been through the program and will allow them to see the relationship with the individuals backgrounds to determine the level of recidivism after completing the program.

The t test and ANOVA are suited more for a continuous study of data.With the scenario presented we are looking at more direct study of if the program is effective.Therefore, they are looking at a certain number of individuals during a certain time period.If the directors of the program would want to continue to monitor the data then these tests would be better suited for the data collection and review.
