What is Program Development Cycle $($PDC$).$ Another term that is similar to this include Software Development Life Cycle $($SDLC$).$ For the purposes of this assignment and most of the class, they can be used interchangeably. Most programs or software, which is developed for commercial use or in large organizations, is done using some systematic process the follows the general outline of the PDC$.$ The development processes can be large multi$-$year developments. Consider for example developing a new version of Windows or Microsoft Office. This is not done overnight. They are large projects complete with many of the stages of Project Management, but they follow along the general concepts of the PDC$.$ The entire PDC could be a single project or each phase in the PDC could be its own project.
