What makes an effective team depends largely on the context of that team's existence. In sports, differing objectives take priority depending on the level of play. For a six-and-under youth soccer team, social and learning goals take precedence while for an MLS team it is about performance and revenue. Different priorities provide different criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of a team. For this discussion, provide a hypothetical list of criteria that could be used to evaluate the functioning of two different teams; one high level (college, professional), and one low level (youth, adult recreational).
