What server apps (Linux, Unix, Linux Red Hat) would customer #3 (t=3) and #5 (t=5) select? And, what would be the value of each app? (Please show graphs (as we did during the class) to answer this question) Unix, Linux, and Linux Red Hat are operating systems for server. Lets say Unix and Linux does incompatible with each other. But, Linux Red Hat is compatible with Linux. All the operating systems have the same price. Unix is available at the time t=0 while Linux is available at the time t=3 and Linux Red Hat is available at the time t=4. Of course, customers do not know of its availability until time t=3. Unix, Linux, and Linux Red Hat have intrinsic value of 4, 9, and 4, respectively. Customers arrive to the market at the rate of one per unit time, and they select whichever technology offers the highest total value. Assume that network value is equal to 2 per users for Unix, 1.5 per Linux, and 1 per Linux Red Hat. Further customers continue to use the technology they first selected, irrespective of new offering later.
