The project that I am working on is wholly related to AI and will be solely centered in the state of Texas. The Texas legislature, at the ned of this last session $($which was the end of last month$)$ passed the Texas Responsible AI Governance Act, which focuses on ethical and responsible use of AI and I will need to research what all the bill entails to better understand the environemnt in which this project will find itself. However, if a marketing campaign were to target individuals from outside the state, I would want all business to follow the standards laid out in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as these are the most strict in the United States.$$ I would be spearheading the drive within Paragon Construction to implement a robust AI governance framework that followed the standards of fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, and data protection. Likewise, marketing requires transparent disclosures about how marketing is being conducted and there would be an auditing framework established to make sure that the ads are in compliance with state and federal law as the FCC prohibits deceptive marketing tactics so all of the AI content would need to be reviwed on a regular basis to ensure compliance.$$ As far as security, personal identifying information would be scrubbed from the data that the LLM would pull from to genreate content. The LLM would be offline and would not query any external database. A consent management platform would need to be used to ensure that data tracking meets the standards of the CCPA so that it would meet the standarrd of Texas and the US government as well. There is a great deal that goes into starting a marketing company, and, I expect, a great deal more in the near future regarding the ethical use of AI$.$
