He has sent you back the file Project 2-0 that will build on the one you had submitted (Assignment 1) and groups all the tasks related to Program Design and Documentation together and all the tasks related to Implementation and Testing together.

Now you have been asked to refine the plan by assigning resources to individual tasks and develop cost estimates

Typically, once tasks are entered into a schedule, people are assigned to work on them. After all, projects dont get done by themselves.

Now we are ready with our sample project, which includes important tasks and gives us overview about the time to complete each task and the project. Next step is to adding resources to your project before assigning them to work on tasks and finalize the budget for our project.

So, for assignment-2 add the resources as mentioned below in same assignment-1 MS project sheet

Note- Each resource is used fully during the task to which it is assigned.

In material type add for all tasks of first summary point- Initiation

  1. Laptops -- $250 each, Quantity-- 15

  2. Server -- $500 each, Quantity 3

  3. UPS --- $ 150 each, quantity 20

In work type add

1. Manager -- 1, $60 per/hr for all tasks, 2. Assistant manager -2, $55 per/hr for all tasks, 3. Information Security Consultant 2, $50 per/hr , for all Tasks of Third summary point- Design.

4.Product Technician - 4, $50 per/hr , for Task a. Deployment of Web application Firewall in the network , b Going live and testing of the firewall , c- Audit all services, servers and assets with respect to risk , d- Quality Assurance.

5. Document editor 2, $50 per/hr, for Tasks Documentation of all Process and Product Use Cases, Training and Handover, Present the documented process to management and stakeholders.

Questions-

a. Observe and take a Screen shot of Project Statistics and Mention the total cost of the project.

b. Study the Gantt chart and Submit the final MS project file in .pdf format.

c. Using Visual Reports Feature, You need to submit screenshots of two different report

categories and describe what you have observed. E.g. Budget Cost Report etc. Simply attaching Screenshot without any explanation will not receive credits.
