That said, can you give me an example of an ethical challenge you have faced recently? Libre5 Corp is Tronics largest wireless sensor parts supplier. I am originally from Brazil and recently relocated to the United States. I work in procurement and one of our suppliers wants to have lunch and selected the location. It turned out to be a strip club. So, I go, and it turns out the Libre5 guy is the best friend of a VP of one of our largest customers. He provided me with some critical information that I passed on to my contact in the sales department. At lunch we caught up on some personal stuff, and I picked up the check. I didn't know what to do as far as paying for the lunch or expensing the lunch so I asked my boss if I could declare this a "business lunch" and submit the receipt for reimbursement? It was 75 dollars. He said I could expense it, but he coached me not to receive gifts from suppliers.
