There are three major limitations of e-commerce. These limitations include a lack of universal security standards, insufficient bandwidth and expensive internet in less-developed countries, and the perception that e-commerce is not secure. With time, I believe most of these limitations will disappear. With time, less-developed countries will become more developed and this will result in more sufficient bandwidth and cheaper internet, which will allow for more access to e-commerce for people who live in these areas. Technology will continue to advance, and so will security measures. Over time, there will become a more universal set of security standards and this will help change the perspective that e-commerce is not secure.
