What would be the best statistical test to analysis the difference between an xbox and playstation?

Here is what I was thinking about doing, I would use a Chi- square goodness of fit, with one variable (gaming systems) at 2 levels (xbox & playstation). OR, Mann- Whitney test.

Would either of those work, PLEASE ADVISE.

Provide the test, and the steps I would consider in layman's terms.
