It provides insight about the various services I provide within the firm, such as consulting, financial advisory, auditing, taxation, and risk management. Position and tasks involved: The current position within the firm is that of Financial Analyst where the main accountability of the employee lies with auditing financial data of a firm. I have to maintain the data of the financial reports of its clients and analyze them. The faults in the files have to be audited by the employee and kept in proper check, so as to check whether the data provided follows the generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS). Work done: I have to be thorough with the present generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and should maintain an error report for sending it to the clients. My knowledge about International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) has also helped me in analyzing files on global standard. I have also received appreciation from my seniors for being able to handle client queries swiftly and answering them efficiently. Obstacle: I suffer from the obstacle of not having a registered degree, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA). This would create an obstacle in future when I have to work in a situation where the legislative authority of certifying would be required for auditing a company completely. Experienced gained: By working in this field I have gained experience for handling problems, such as accounting files and handling auditing of financial files. This has provided me with an added advantage to understand and easily recognize the minute faults existing in a financial file.
