Although many support such changes there are others who oppose the participation of trangender persons in the Olympics based on the argument that it places these athletes at an "unfair" advantage over cis- gendered athletes. For this discussion post, I would like for you to review the new measures outlined by the Olympic Comittee and explore (given what we have learned thus far this term) the reasoning behind why this is a more ethical approach to inclusiion for transgender and non binary athletes over previous measures. Think about consqeuences, obligations and ideals. As a follow up, I would like for you to answer the following question (think of this as a practice for your rebuttals in your debates) Would it be ethical to insist that transgender and non- binary athletes compete in thier own version of the Olympic games?
