When a buyer client is concerned about some feature in a home, such as the condition of the roof or matters involving the electrical system, the salesperson:

a$.$ should discourage the need for a third party opinion, if he or she has a general knowledge of such topics.

b$.$ provide an opinion regarding the concern in hopes that this will satisfy the client.

c$.$ should recommend a close friend who is knowledgeable about such things and can guide the buyer client.

d$.$ may admit that he or she doesn't know of any individuals who handle that sort of thing.
