When discussing whether I feel it is possible for a counselor to remain neutral in regard to their clients values, I feel that counselor can remain neutral. Some situations where a conflict may arise regarding values between myself and a clients would be personal experiences and religious beliefs. What three key issues would these possess and how should I handle these conflicts? Within the state of Nebraska, what state statutes affect how I would handle these conflicts regarding the ethics code? This will have to be a two to three page paper utilizing a reference to the Nebraska State Board of licensed professional counselors.
