Soft skills are personal characteristics, strengths, and other assets a person possesses. Studies have divided soft skills into four categories:

(1) thinking and problem-solving,

(2) oral and written communication,

(3) personal qualities and work ethic, and

(4) Interpersonal and teamwork. Using the preceding categories to guide you, identify your soft skills, paying attention to attributes you think a potential employer would value. What areas do you recognize need improvement? How will you achieve improvement in your soft skills?
