When it comes to Special Purpose Districts here in Texas, there should be no argument that our more than $1,200$ public school districts $($ISDs$),$ along with the more than $600$ charter schools make up the largest segment of SPDs$.$ Whether it is a large school district, like those in the Houston and Dallas areas, or the smallest one, Divide ISD in Kerr County, schools are important components to our local and state government.
