When learning about Simple random sampling is a method of selecting a subset of individuals from a larger population, where each individual has an equal chance of being chosen. This gives a bit more accuracy on data in terms of whole populations. This was interesting to learn to do in Excel b/c then you can do this when asking about opinions in surveys, books to read or even choosing a restaurant amongst friends.
