When multiple application$-$layer processes $($e$.$g$.,$ P$1,$ P$2,...,$ Pn$)$ on a host need to receive messages through their own sockets that are virtually connected to different remote sockets, respectively, the $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_$ service on this host uses the header info in every incoming transport$-$layer segment that arrives at this host to figure out to which local socket of which process the data$/$message carried in this transport$-$layer segment should be delivered. This is the so$-$called $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_$ on the receiver side.
