After this process is done the programme has to be registered with NQA and go through another process to be accredited by the National Council of high education. Within NUST, the programme has to be recommended by the Board of Studies made up of different departments under Fucalty, recommended by the Academic Programme Development Committee, and then get approved by the Senate.
