When reading the lecture notes the open topic I found interesting and would like to discuss is based on the video by Tamar Montag$-$Smit. She goes into detail better than I can about power and influence and never really thought about that concept in the workplace till this week.

Her definition of what A$-$symmetric dependence is defining the less powerful party still can have an impact on one's party. Now thinking and being aware of this form of dependence has made me realize and become more aware of a situation I am in although I am working and labeled as an intern at my co$-$op I know that the knowledge I possess is truly beneficial to my team and how I fit in allows me to be a more effective and productive employee knowing that although I am labeled as a lower level doesn$$t necessarily mean the work I produce is undervalued.
