When two branches have code that is in common, we can factor it out. Code can factor to the $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_,$ the $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_,$ or even the $\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_!$ It is amazing how little can be left behind in a branch with lots in common with its neighbor.
