When working as a paralegal you will need to enter your time spent on cases, and bill clients for the time spent on their matter. You find out that a paralegal at your firm has been writing down notes to herself about time spent on client matters on slips of paper that she collects in a drawer. At the end of the month, she enters all of her time for the month just prior to bills being sent out. Sometimes she estimates or rounds her time. In your initial discussion post this week, explain the ethical implications of accurate timekeeping and billing, as well as any concerns you may have about how your fellow paralegal is entering time.
