While reading through the contract to make sure that it includes everything agreed upon, you hesitate over the following clause:

"The following items shall not be billed to Couch Potato and they shall have no responsibility to pay for the following expenses: tolls, fuel, vehicle repair costs, vehicle oil changes and maintenance."

Another clause also confuses you:

"The mileage for each trip undertaken by Rhodes Trucks shall be determined before the onset of such trip, and the mileage fee shall be based on said determination. Couch Potato shall not be required to pay for any detours in excess of the predetermined mileage unless such detour is necessitated by traffic conditions, police action and road accidents."
