Why is it important to know the Full Load Amperage of the compressor, during startup?
What is the difference between a green dot in the sight glass and a yellow dot in the sight glass?
If the sight glass is clear, how do you tell if the system was full or empty of refrigerant?
What is the state of the refrigerant in the evaporator?
What is the state of the refrigerant in the condenser?
What does a low condensing pressure and suction pressure mean after unit has been running?
What does frost on the suction line mean?
If the system is over charged, list the theoretical reading shown by the Ammeter, suction gauge and discharged gauge?
In a medium temp refrigerator, where should the temperature be maintained?
In a TXV type system, what is the purpose of the low pressure control?
INSTRUCTIONS:
Make sure the power is off.
Remove the service valve caps and install your manifold gauge hoses on the valves. With your gauge valves closed, mid position the service valves.
With very small amount of refrigerant purge each hose connected on the service valves.
With your manifold gauge valves closed, read your gauges and record pressures.
Connect your service hose from the manifold gauges to the electronic charging scale. Also you will need a forth hose to connect the scale to the refrigerant cylinder.
