Your group is to design and fabricate concrete cylinders using the materials available in the
construction materials laboratory. Your designed strength should be psi (Notified by
TA). The materials include: 38" aggregate, Type I cement, sand, and water, with detailed
properties shown in Table 1. For other parameters that are not given, you can make proper
assumptions. You can follow the design procedure we discussed in class to complete the design.
You can propose your own strength. Your design should get an approval by TA before Step 2.
