You main role is to provide IT network services to clients across the country Zimbabwe. You are requested to recommend a solution for ABC University as they want to upgrade their network from Linux to Windows Server 2008. ABC University has different departments such as Student welfare (12 staffs), Accounts (20 staffs), HR (20 staffs), Academic staff (200 staffs) and non-academic staff (100 staffs) and 5000 students across all campuses. While planning the recommendation network, consider Active Directory logical and physical structure of the institute. The logical network design must focus on the institute design specification in regard to number of DNS, Forest, OUS, domains and trees that you are proposing to the institute. With respect to the institute specification the proposal must include the following: Business requirements Technical requirements Domain design Forest design Organizational Unit design DNS Recommend a solution for Configuration of Sites indicating relationship amongst domains and how Replication will be carried out for the whole institute Indicate how you will implement the security plan for Active directory Include group policy that will apply to Groups and Users you created Create Active directory reliability and optimization plan taking into account back up and recover from disasters, show how performance monitoring tools will help to ensure server availability and also consider offline monitoring and maintenance.
