With all the challenges with Walmart, which you've presented, do you still shop at Walmart, or do you prefer to frequent other stores with more credibility? Can you tell us a bit about how this information affects your shopping habits?

Today, Walmart operates approximately 10,500 stores and clubs under 48 banners in 24 countries and eCommerce websites. We employ 2.2 million associates around the world nearly 1.6 million in the U.S. alone (Walmart Corporation). I think for Walmart to be ranked number on Fortune 500 for 2021(Fortune 500, 2021) the companys image should work on its professional image to maintain their credibility. Walmart Company has received significant criticism due to their current practices, which need to be changed to achieve effective trust with the customers and clients. Walmart has been accused of bribery allegation among executives operating in Mexico, acquiring of dead peasant insurance, racial and gender discrimination(Mattera, 2020). Furthermore, the company is sourcing products from foreign countries, establishment of anti-competitive practices, poor working conditions for the employees in the company. Additionally, the company is misleading the customers on matters of environmental practices, understaffed stores, and use of the subsidies offered by the government. To enhance and build credibility among the customers and clients, Walmart Company has to change its practices. The Walmart Company should improve honesty and objectivity in the organizations by eliminating corruption cases such as bribes to obtain work permits among the company executives operating in Mexico. This will create a good reputation for the company, hence; enhancing credibility leading to more trust among the customers and the clients. The company has been using the subsidies offered by the government, which is a wrong move, and they should enhance awareness of audience needs to facilitate understanding of the customer and clients on the available government subsidies to enhance customer satisfaction through the issuance of the relevant offerings leading to the building of trust among them. The understaffing and poor working conditions among the employees are of significant concern. The company must find a solution to this problem to enhance performance, hence, improving the company's credibility. Furthermore, the company should improve performance by eliminating all kinds of discrimination in the organization, which creates a good reputation for the company, hence; improving credibility building that enhances the trust of the customers and the clients. "Establishing your credibility and protecting your company's image are two vital steps in building and fostering positive business relationships" (Bovee & Thill, 2021). The company should use the readily available skills and knowledge among the workforce to source local products and create healthy competition rather than sourcing foreign products; this would demonstrate sincerity that enhances and improves credibility, building trust among the customers and the clients.
