With wind speed, we also want to know wind direction. We want to know at least the 16 basic directions (N, E, S, W, NE, NW. SW, SE, SW, NNE, ENE, etc). There are a number of ways we could store this - we could use the ordinal positions of a compass, using either full descriptions (North, North East, North North East, etc) or abbreviations (N, NE, NNE, etc.), or we could use the degrees (0, 45, 22). Our sensor is only accurate a single degree (so no decimals)
