wk2d1 AT - Please provide a quick comprehensive response to the paragraph below.

There are five main principles of the Social Judgement theory which assist in the act of persuasion. These five principles are: We have categories of judgment by which we evaluate persuasive arguments. Second, when we receive persuasive information, we use our categories of judgment to assess it. Third, our level of ego involvement affects the size of our latitudes. Fourth, we generally distort incoming information to fit our categories of judgment. Lastly, small or moderate differences between our anchor positions and the one being proposed will cause us to change. Large discrepancies will not. These standards if used correctly could possibly convince me to change my belief in C.I.O. (cry it out method). I am a new mom and I personally feel as though it is torturous to my baby to let her "cry it out" when she is crying because she wants me for whatever reason it may be. I get a lot of heat for "babying" my 12-month-old. People have tried to convince me but they go about it the wrong way and using this method I could possibly see how the C.I.O method could be beneficial to my daughter in the long run. This Social Judgement theory is smart because instead of being pushy, you "find the other persons preferred position, aim not to stray out of their latitude of acceptance and certainly not into their latitude of rejection. Also, avoid denting their ego."
