Workers Union $($WU$)$ has signed on employees as members at SMALLMART $($Pty$)$ Ltd$,$ a large

retail company based in Boksburg. They represent over $500$ workers $($the total workforce is

$1800,$ including managers$)$ at the branch and are demanding the right to represent their

members at the workplace, including the election of shop stewards. There is another rival

union at the company and they represent over $900$ workers at the same workplace. The

company does not want to deal with multiple unions and is refusing to recognise Workers

Union.
