Worn again would use a 3-step program. First step the company would separate polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and cotton in non-reusable, hard-to-recycle textiles, such as polycotton. Second step would be to clean up the separated materials by removing dyes, contaminants, and impurities, and lastly the company would produce PET pellet and cellulosic pulp to be sold to spinners in existing textile supply chains
