Tables and graphs are good methods for helping many people to understand concepts. In fact, practical uses of tables and graphs can make everyday life easier in many ways. Some examples could be power, cable, water, or telephone companies using charts to show your usage over specific months or years. Also, if you use money or financial planning software packages or apps, they also tend to use tables and graphs in their applications.

If we were to totally convert to the Metric System, our English units would need to be converted to metric units. For example, miles to meters. Although, many metric units are already being used in our system by several businesses and are listed alongside English units on various product labels. Would this conversion make your chosen career easier or harder to perform?
