WRITE A CASE STUDY BASED ON YOUR OWN RESEARCH. 1000 WORDS ( about 8 paragraphs).

Find a successful strategy of change and reverse engineer it, so that by the 2nd paragraph, there is some idea of the strategy you are describing, then you begin to tell the story of how strategy unfolded. Then zoom back out, and conclude telling the moral of the story. ( a final assessment of the case studied is important; a proposal or recommendation for the future is an optional ending to the study)

Case studies are always in past tense, because you're describing something that happened. Introductions and conclusions which refer to the present day may be written in present tense, to introduce the case and to assess it.

CASE STUDY EXAMPLES: SEE THE VARIOUS CASE STUDIES IN THE FIRST DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT. Case studies come in various forms, from magazine articles, to marketing points on a business website. For this assignment, you should have 3-4 full pages of writing with specific description of the strategic change that occurred, and a References list of sources, 3-5 citations, APA style (business format is APA, not MLA).

Choose 1 of the companies listed below. These are luxury companies that are part of larger conglomerate business groups, such as LVMH or Kering. They are chosen for your assignment because of the revenue they generate, and for you to learn from big business in order to acquire useful strategic knowledge, which could be applied to any field of work. These companies have had numerous glitches in their history, which they have had to overcome, in areas of product, business method, advertising or marketing strategy, events such as numerous runway presentations, non-profit collaborative partnerships, and reputation problems. (see the list of business themes below)

Choose 1 of these companies. In order to choose, I suggest going to the company websites, scanning these company histories quickly in order to find a company that intrigues you, spending a good amount of time to pick, and then proceed with research to find changes they have made in any of the themes listed below.
