Write a compression program for a multimedia file $($use MobyDick if you have access to it$).$ You will run these in the virtual network so you will also need to make use of your client$/$server socket program.$$

Send a compressed version of a large text $($included$)$ or picture file between two hosts in your virtual network. Output the size of the original file, the algorithm used for compression, the compressed size. Send both the uncompressed and compressed file over your network and output the time to transmit for both. Show the file on the destination computer able to open with minimum$($picture$)$ or no$($text$)$ loss of quality.
