The correlational research design utilized enables an understanding of the relationships between these characteristics and the teachers' perceived DET needs without the complications of experimental manipulation. A more nuanced knowledge of the variables affecting teachers' perceived needs in DET education is provided by the results of this correlational study. The study reveals areas where focused professional development might be most successful by highlighting important correlations between factors like training and experience.
